CMK 7294 1/72 WWII British Napier Sabre Series Mk.II Engine Set
The set contains highly detailed model of British in-lineaero-engine of WW2 period which was used in the Hawker Typhoon and Hawker Tempest planes and also in the first 21 Blackburn Firebrands. It was also tested in these: Fairey Battle, Folland Fo.108 and was used in prototypes: Hawker Fury, Martin-Baker MB 3, Napier-Heston Racer and Vickers Warwick.
Highly detailed cast model of one of the most powerful and also most-complicated piston engines of the Second World War, the H-24-cylinder Sabre series Mk.II of Napier company. Production engines were installed to the Hawker Typhoon and Tempest fighters. Almost identical Sabre Mk.III powered the Blackburn Firebrand Mk.I attack planes. Sabre engines were also installed in the Hawker Fury and Martin-Baker MB-3 prototypes and test-flown in the Fo 108 and Warwick machines.
