The Focke-Wulf Fw 190D-9 entered Luftwaffe service in September of 1944. This specialized fighter-bomber boasted improved climbing, diving and turning over the A-series, as well as faster horizontal speeds. The famed Jagdgeschwader 26 (JG 26) unit flew the Fw 190D-9 in air raids against the R.A.F. Schlachtgeschwader 10 (SG 10) used the "Dora" for close air support while it was stationed in Russia and Eastern Europe. This limited edition kit features new bomb parts.
