The U.S. Air Force's Thunderbirds air demonstration squadron has used F-16 Fighting Falcons for their shows since the F-16A was added to their roster in 1982. The team upgraded to the F-16C in 1992, and transitioned to updated Block 52 aircraft in 2009. These models include a powerful Pratt & Whitney F100-PW-229 engine that increases the maximum gross weight by approximately 5,000 pound-force. This limited edition kit features upgraded parts and special markings representing the U.S.A.F. Aerobatic Team "Thunderbirds," 2010.
