Italeri 1201 1/72 Augusta-Bell AB-204B / UH-1F Rescue Helicopter

This is a plastic model kit, which comes unassembled and unpainted. So glue, model paints and other basic modelling tools are additionally required.

This version of the famous helicopter UH-1 Huey was produced in Italy under license for the Italian armed forces. Later other European countries were supplied as well with AB-204 Bs. (Austria, the Netherlands, Sweden). The AB-204 was built with a more powerful engine than the previous B/C version. It was equipped with part of the fuselage of the bigger UH-1 D Slick type. Despite its capability of carrying a vast assortment of armament, this chopper became mainly a supply and support aircraft.
