Echelon Fine Details AXT481002 1/48 Schwere Panzerabteilung 505 Tiger IIs Decals
Type: water-slide decals
Finally, an "all-in-one" marking sheet that is aimed squarely at satisfying any sPzAbt 505 Tiger II hungry fans. The generic numbers and roman numerals should be applicable on 505 Tiger Is as well. The "Charging Knight" has also been created with a lot more detail.
Although there are 5 suggested marking options provided in the instructions, you can choose to mark any of the 505 Tiger IIs due to the fact that the tactical numbers are quite standard across all vehicles, with the exception of the smaller "2". A slight (but obvious) variation has been detected. Both types are replicated in the sheet.
Of special mention is Horst Kronke's Tiger "124", which featured a flat, cropped out Hans im Gl?ck image being fastened onto the front of the mantlet collar. The Hans im Gl?ck image are on the instruction sheet so modellers can carefully cut it out and use it right away.
The clear films are thin and are cropped very close to the edge of the artwork. With a bit of basic waterslide decal application understanding, modellers should be able to produce a flawless decal finish over zimmerit.
