The AS6 Envoy took off for the first time in June 1934. The aircraft was constructed entirely of wood. The canvas covering was reinforced with aviation plywood in exposed areas. The span of these machines was 15.94 meters and the length of the hull was 10.53 meters. With a maximum take-off weight of 2860 kg and a high cruising speed of 265 km/h (max. 300 km/h) for its time, the range was up to 1020 km with six passengers.
