Airspeed Envoy, G-AENA, Schlesinger Race, 1936
Airspeed Limited was founded in York, England, in 1931. Starting with the AS.1 Tern glider and a series of multi-engine aircraft, the designers eventually developed the AS6 Envoy. This aircraft was essentially based on the earlier Airspeed AS5 Courier. By this time, however, the company had relocated to Portsmouth.
** This model kit is supplied in unassembled and unpainted plastic components. Please note that glue, model paints, and other basic modelling tools are required and sold separately.
